England's Cameron Norrie arrived at the last of the Estoril Open with a straight-set triumph over previous world number three Marin Cilic.
Norrie beat the Croatian 6th seed, a previous US Open hero, 7-6 (7-5) 7-5.
The 25-year-old skiped back from 3-0 down in the main set to win, saving five of the six break focuses he confronted.
Sunday's conclusive, where he will meet Albert Ramos-Vinolas or Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, will be his second on the ATP Tour.
He is looking for a first ATP Tour singles title, and should he win, Norrie will turn into the primary player to win both the singles and copies titles at the Estoril Open in Portugal, having won the pairs title close by Kyle Edmund in 2018.
He has won 18 ATP Tour coordinates with this season, setting him joint third close by Jannik Sinner on the 2021 successes leaderboard. Just Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev have won more (26).
