Following the adoption of the direct primary mode by the party leadership, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, who was recently suspended by the Bishop of Gkoko Catholic Diocese for engaging in partisan politics, emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Benue State on Saturday, May 28.
