On Monday, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), met with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in Abuja.

On Saturday, Atiku overcame Wike and other presidential contenders in the party to win the party's presidential ticket.

At the PDP presidential primary held at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, Atiku garnered 371 votes to defeat Wike, who received 237 votes.
