Deborah Samuel's body was laid to rest.

Deborah Samuel, a 200-level student at Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto state, was gruesomely murdered by her classmates on Thursday, May 12. Her remains were laid to rest today, May 14, amid tears.

Deborah was hacked to death on allegations that she made a blasphemous comment on her school's WhatsApp network, which her Muslim classmates thought was blasphemy (SAW).

Her ashes were interred in her hometown of Tungan Magajiya in Niger State's Rijau Local Government Area.
