Officials from the EFCC stormed the PDP National Convention.
On Saturday, members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) invaded the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national conference in Abuja.

Officers in red jackets with the "EFCC" emblazoned on the back were observed going around and within the venue in large numbers.

The anti-graft officers, whose reason of participation was yet unknown, declined to talk with the media, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondents covering the convention.

Meanwhile, Chinwe Nnorom, the PDP's National Director of Publicity, has declared mobile phones will not be permitted in the voting area.

"If you are not a delegate, stay away from the voting cubicles," she said. "Delegates should also be aware that phones are not permitted near the voting cubicles."
