Progress will compete against Zadok in the Nigerian Idol 7 finale on Showmax.

Either Progress or Zadok will be crowned the 7th winner of Nigeria Idol tonight. The two finalists will live out their dreams in front of millions of people across Africa, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Australia, and New Zealand thanks to Showmax.

Progress has shown to be a vocal maestro as a 21-year-old singer, composer, performer, and music minister. He wowed the judges with his audition performance of John Legend's All of Me, and it's been a string of incredible performances since then.

Zadok, a 27-year-old recording artist, composer, record producer, and performer, has consistently given incredible stage performances. When he performed his song "Soul Provider," he received a shout-out from Michael Bolton, a great performer. Timi Dakolo also thanked him on Instagram for performing his song, "Wish Me Well," so well on the broadcast.

The music reality programme, which began with over 10,000 hopefuls auditioning, was whittled down to the final 12 who advanced to the live events, and now the top two are vying for the title of Nigerian Idol.

The crown comes with N100 million in rewards, the most for any singing competition in Nigeria. Kingdom Kroseide won the sixth season of the show after months of hard musical competition.
