Mohamed Salah was forced out in the first half of the FA Cup final for Liverpool due to injury.

The Egypt international played for just over half an hour against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday before being replaced.

And his team will be hoping for a clean bill of health at a key point in the season, as they chase Manchester City for the Premier League championship and prepare to face Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Salah went down in pain after 30 minutes of the Wembley final, which was tied at 0-0.

The forward appeared to be in a lot of pain, and it became clear that he wouldn't be playing in the final.

In his place, Diogo Jota was introduced, and Liverpool must now wait to learn the extent of his injury.

Salah has been in outstanding form for the Reds this season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions to help them win four trophies.

In addition to the FA Cup, Liverpool will hope he is not ruled out of three more crucial matches in 2021-22.

Jurgen Klopp's side face Southampton in a must-win Premier League match on Tuesday before finishing the season at home against Wolves next weekend.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the Champions League final on May 28 in Paris.
