Senator Jibrin predicts that the PDP NWC, BoT, and Atiku will choose an acceptable running mate.

The Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) National Working Committee, Board of Trustees, and Atiku Abubakar, the party's Presidential candidate for 2023, will collaborate to find an acceptable running mate.

According to INFOGONG, Atiku is the PDP's presidential candidate for 2023.

Senator Walid Jibrin, the Chairman of the PDP BoT, said in a statement on Monday that the former Vice President's selection as the party's presidential candidate for 2023 is a significant win for the party and a positive omen for all Nigerians.

He claimed that Atiku's victory in the PDP primaries had given Nigerians a better deal ahead of the 2023 general election.

"After the Port-Harcourt convention headed by Governor Okowa of Delta State in 2018, the BoT also congratulates Senator David Mark and his entire committee for organising one of the best elective National conventions," the statement continued.

He asked all members of the party to unify behind Atiku Abubakar, the party's presidential candidate, in order to win the 2023 presidential election and free Nigeria from the APC's misrule (APC).

"Finally, the BoT will work with the party and, without a doubt, the Wazirin Adamawa himself to produce a very acceptable Vice President from southern Nigeria," he concluded.
