"DSS utilised technology to nab Anambra lawmaker's killer but can't monitor North East kidnappers" St. Matthew-Daniel

Laila St. Matthew-Daniel, a women's rights activist, has reacted to the arrest of the alleged architect of the gruesome murder of an Anambra lawmaker.

The Department of State Service (DSS) detained Chukwujekwu Onuorah, a 70-year-old man accused of masterminding the kidnapping and beheading of Okechukwu Okoye, a member of the state's House of Assembly.

Mrs Matthew-Daniel said on Facebook on Thursday, June 2 that security forces used technology to catch the main suspect, but that they are unable to trace bandits and kidnappers terrorising the North East.
