EPL - Raheem Sterling's transfer from Man City to Chelsea has a date set.

According to the UK Mirror, Chelsea's acquisition of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City may be completed this week.

It is believed that Blues owner Todd Boelhy personally contacted City and that a formal bid will be made soon after.

For about £55 million, the Premier League winners might be open to selling.

The 27-year-old Sterling has one year left on his £300,000 per week contract at The Etihad, but he is fervently seeking to increase his playing time.

That has made Chelsea aware, and Thomas Tuchel is very interested. He has already explained Sterling's role in his plans and his vision to Chelsea.

An England international going between two Premier League rivals would be one of the biggest signings of the summer.
