In Ilorin, another citizen is killed by cultists.
Another victim of a suspected cultists' attack in Ilorin, Kwara State, died of gunshot wounds on Monday night.

On Monday night, suspected cultists carried out a deadly attack in Ilorin's Omoda/Adangba neighbourhoods, killing three people, including a professional Okada rider, according to INFOGONG.

Only one unidentified person was murdered in the incident, which occurred between 8.45pm and 9.00pm, according to the State Police Command's spokesman, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, who verified the development.

He also verified the arrest of one suspect, while the matter is still being investigated.

However, according to our sources, one of the victims of the incident died on Wednesday as a result of gunshot wounds.

Katibi, a resident of Abegunde Area along Adangba Road and a native of Ile Ogunoko compound in Ilorin metropolis, was simply known as Katibi.

Katibi worked as a vendor of cell phone recharge cards near the Omoda roundabout where the attack took place till his death.

Following the horrific attack by the accused cultists, locals have resumed their commercial and social activities, revealing that normalcy has returned to the neighbourhood.
