Mr Umar Adoro, the State Commander, stated this in a Kaduna interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday.
In a series of operations in Kaduna and Zaria in May 2022, he claimed, the agency's operatives smashed 14 drug outlets.
Abakwa, Malali, Tirkaniya, Rigasa, Romi, Filin Minister, Chikaji, and Sabon Gari are among the 14 drug establishments that have been demolished, according to Adoro.
He claimed the peddlers nabbed were made up of 93 men and seven women, and that the agency also confiscated cocaine and other narcotics during the raids.
Cannabis Sativa 192.549kg, Cocaine 0.008kg, Heroin 0.002kg, Tramadol 4.954kg, psychoactive substance 196.960kg, and methamphetamine 0.007kg, according to the commander.
"The overall weight of drugs collected during the time under consideration is 394.480kg," he stated.
He went on to say that the fight against illicit drugs and drug misuse was a team effort, and that parents should keep an eye on their children to safeguard them from drug usage.
While underlining his commitment to the fight against drug misuse, Adoro urged citizens to provide security authorities with credible information in order to reduce the threat in society.
