On Saturday, Ibadan Zonal Command personnel confirmed the development.
The individuals were apprehended in Ibadan, Oyo State, and Ondo State as part of a sting operation.
According to the anti-graft agency, 41 people were detained in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, and 39 in Oyo State.
Following useful intelligence on their cyber-fraudulent operations, the suspects, who claimed to be undergraduates at several tertiary institutions in Ibadan, were apprehended in the Apete area of the Oyo State capital.
However, incriminating documents and communications of their illegal bank transactions were found from thirty-four of the suspects after examinations were performed on their devices.
Among the items found were five exotic automobiles, mobile phones, and laptop computers.
They will be charged in court as soon as the investigations are completed, according to the Commission.
