Following a terrorist attack on churchgoers in Owo, Ondo State, former Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central, has advised against abusing Northerners in the South.

Shehu Sani issued the warning on Monday via his Twitter account, saying that the terrorists' goal was to incite vengeance and national discord.

"Neither the worshipers in mosques nor the worshipers in churches are spared." He tweeted, "The North is a daily victim of their aggression."

Senator Shehu Sani, on the other hand, has already criticised the attack on the Catholic Church in Ondo, calling it a "horrible, savage, and condemnable act of terror."

"All Nigerians must come together to condemn the perpetrators of this horrific crime. Everything must be done to apprehend the perpetrators. "Enough with the bloodletting," he wrote.

The newest attack in Nigeria, the Owo Church incident, has sparked widespread criticism both inside and outside the country, with repeated appeals for the government to do what is necessary to safeguard human life.
