Sowore is the winner of the AAC presidential primary.

Omoyele Sowore, a media celebrity, has been proclaimed the winner of the African Action Congress' presidential ticket (AAC).

At the AAC convention in the federal capital territory (FCT) on Thursday, June 9, Sowore was uncontested.

Sowore resigned from his post as chairman of the party he helped create before the convention began.

In the 2023 elections, he will face APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, and others.
