Speaking during Alhaji Teslim Dawodu's 90th birthday party in Sagamu, Abiodun voiced concern that cults were frequently observed in higher institutions.
The governor also made a suggestion that his administration had passed a law giving them the authority to destroy any home serving as a sanctuary for cultists.
He declared that his administration will devote all available resources to making sure that all cult-related problems were resolved.
I have signed a legislation, and this law now gives me the authority to destroy any dwelling where a cultist is discovered, the man declared.
We are on top of the unusual issues that Sagamu has faced. To stay on top of the security situation in Sagamu, we are using all of our resources. It is quite terrible that we start having problems with cults in Remoland's capital. Additionally, cultists are now your mechanic, vulcanizer, and bricklayer, and when you ask them why they are involved, they don't even understand. Historically, cultists were typically found in tertiary institutions.
However, Abiodun urged state property owners to make sure they had the contact information for their tenants.
