According to reports, a blind man was one among the victims of the incident that happened at the hamlet along the Kaduna Birnin Gwari Highway at around 8 o'clock on Sunday, August 21.
On Monday, August 22, a community leader named Muhammadu Umaru informed Daily Trust that the people had come out to confront the thieves with the assistance of surrounding security personnel, which had caused them to abandon the neighbourhood.
He stated:
Sarkin Komo, who had just arrived into the community, was one of the victims, and a blind guy was the other.
Umaru encouraged security services to step up efforts to stop the killing of innocent people in the state, adding that the security situation there is concerning.
