CNN: How Nigerian Pastor Jerry Eze Became One of the Most Popular Pastors On YouTube

Pastor Jerry Eze is a man of God with Nigerian ancestry. One of the most influential international media organisations, CNN, has recognised Pastor Eze as a prayer warrior and a religious leader with significant global influence.

At a time when the globe was struggling with Covid-19 and a global lockdown, Pastor Jerry launched a prayer programme on his YouTube account.

Christians from all over the world were compelled to join Pastor Eze on his YouTube channel at seven in the morning, Nigerian time, to watch his fervent prayer session and be blessed by it.

According to the analytics website Playboard, which compiles data for YouTube channels, Eze's daily broadcasts rank among the most streamed globally on YouTube with more than 90,000 peak concurrent viewers.

In terms of the number of live viewers globally, his YouTube site is second only to Brazilian preacher Bruno Leonardo among gospel networks.

His self-titled YouTube channel currently has over 880,000 members, and over the course of three years, his broadcasts have received more than 122 million views.

Pastor Jerry Eze is the Lead Pastor at Streams of Joy International as well as the organiser of the New Season Prophetic Prayers. He firmly believes that "What God Cannot Do, Does Not Exist," thus it's no surprise that many people from all around the world engage with him on YouTube and offer inspiring testimonies.

The 40-year-old pastor and fervent pray-er was born on August 22, 1982 in Abia State's Bende Local Government. His education was paid for by a couple who were in love, and when he was younger, he actively participated in church activities. He was raised by a single mother who was a small-time trader.

Due of Pastor Eze's popularity on YouTube, Nigeria is now listed among the nations where there are popular preachers.
