20 pupils are killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan.
On Friday, a suicide bomber entered a classroom at the Kaaj Higher Educational Center in Kabul, the Afghan capital, and exploded a bomb, killing no less than 19 students.

As reported by BBC, almost 30 other people were hurt in the school in the Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood where they were taking a mock university exam, according to the police and witnesses.

The Taliban and the Islamic State (IS) have targeted the Hazara minority in several of the districts, according to reports, even though no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The third-largest ethnic group in Afghanistan is the Shia Muslim Hazaras.

Students were getting ready for a test when a suicide bomber targeted this learning facility. Sadly, 19 people have died, and 27 more have been hurt, according to Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran.

Akbar, a student there, claimed that the majority of the victims were female. There were maybe 600 of us in the class. But the majority of the victims are women and girls," Akbar remarked.

Families and friends have flocked to hospitals in search of loved ones who were hurt in the attacks.
