A boy of 10 years old drowns in Jigawa Pond.

On Saturday, a 10-year-old kid drowned in Jigawa's Buji Local Government Area.

The spokesman for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State, CSC Adamu Shehu, verified this on Sunday in Dutse.

He claimed that the boy drowned while swimming with friends in a pond in the Lelen Kudu village. He made this claim to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He was declared dead by a doctor two hours after his body was discovered, according to Shehu.
