Dino Melaye: "Nigeria Is Like A Car Driven By A Drunk Driver."

Senator Dino Melaye, a spokesman for the presidential campaign of Atiku Abubakar, has compared Nigeria to a car driven by a drunk driver, claiming that no region of the country is safe.

This was expressed by Dino Melaye during an interview with Channels TV's Politics Today.

"Atiku is a renowned problem-solver," he remarked. I am arguing that he is competent and able to solve the challenges since he has an understanding of them. As a former vice president, and a renowned one at that, he is intimately familiar with this country. And based on his previous assertions, there is no doubt that he is the best qualified candidate to lead us out of the hole the APC has dug for us.

"We are in a catastrophic position where no aspect of our national life is functioning. There is currently no security, let alone welfare. We are in a very perilous situation because Nigeria is severely ill; it is comparable to a drunk driver operating a vehicle. No portion of this nation is secure."

Melaye emphasized that Atiku is not merely giving restructuring lip service.

He stated, "I am telling you that he produced a book on restructuring at a time when it was dangerous for any northerner to discuss restructuring. Atiku spoke clearly on restructuring. Therefore, he speaks from the heart.

"He stands by every word he's spoken. It will not be a question of one or two years; it will begin now. He has the ability to ensure that all five of his initiatives begin on his first day in office."
