The girl, who spoke to reporters in Port Harcourt, claimed that Chuka and policemen from the Rumupeirikom (Kala) Police Division in Port Harcourt came to her business to arrest her for refusing his sex requests after she had received monetary gifts from him on numerous occasions.
She claimed that Chuka would regularly visit her shop to have his nails cleaned, and afterward, he would pay her for a job well done. She claimed that the man had been in her shop on numerous occasions.
She claimed that when she declined to go with him to a hotel as he demanded for an immoral connection, issues began to develop.
"Until the day he asked me out to a hotel, he never explained to me why he was giving me the extra cash. After learning that he was married, I informed him that I was unable to travel with him to a hotel.
He used increasing pressure to get me to check into a hotel with him. The police officers he brought to arrest me were the next thing I noticed. When I was asked to write a statement at the police station, I explained what had happened between me and the man, she said.
When reporters requested remarks from Chuka, he declined to give them.
The adolescent left the police station with her parents after the DPO heard from both parties and cautioned the man to cease bothering her due to her age, according to SP Grace Iringe Koko, a spokeswoman for the Rivers State Police Command.
