It is believed that the death of the mother and son in their house was a murder-suicide.
Police in Leeds discovered a woman and her 10-year-old son dead at their residence. It is believed that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.


At 9 o'clock on Thursday, September 15, police were summoned to a home in Holbeck, West Yorkshire, after receiving complaints from neighbours.


In a flat, West Yorkshire Police officers discovered the bodies of a 30-year-old lady and her son. Official identification has not yet happened.


The scene on Cross Ingram Road is still active as West Yorkshire Police continue their investigation there. They were not seeking for anyone else in relation to the event but are investigating the full circumstances behind their deaths.


According to a police spokeswoman, officers were called to an address on Cross Ingram Road, Holbeck, Leeds, at around 9 o'clock last night after concerns about the welfare of the residents were voiced.


Inside the apartment, a woman and a child were discovered dead. They are believed to be a 30-year-old lady and her 10-year-old son who both lived at the address, though formal identification has not yet been performed.


Officers are not seeking for anyone else in connection with the tragedy as investigations are ongoing to determine the entire circumstances of their deaths. The address still has a scene there.
