Julius Abure, the national chairman of the Labour Party, revealed this in a press release from Abuja.
Abure's admiration follows the labor movement protests that were held in Abuja, Plateau, and several other states.
The LP chairman claimed that the enormous turnout for the march in support of the party's presidential nominee was not unexpected.
Even while he admitted that movement supporters went above and beyond to provide between N1,000 and N10,000 to hold such events,
"The rallies are not surprising," he remarked. It's because the Labour Party has a candidate who will work for the people while also effectively advancing the party's interests.
Naturally, the process must be owned by the people. Because they believe that whoever plays the pipe calls the music, the people will support the process. As a result, the party's proprietors are the people, who are also paying for these activities.
"People are spending N1000, N10,000, and other amounts to organize rallies for themselves. Buildings are being donated, and the Nigerian people are progressively taking ownership of the Labour Party.
"The Labour Party is a party for the working class, craftsmen, students, market women, the underprivileged, civil servants, wood cutters, water carriers, and everyday people on the street. They control the party and make up more than 90% of Nigerians.
Abure, who was overjoyed, expressed his optimism that the party will attract supporters and win the election when campaigning got on.
He claims that Nigerians find it difficult to accept that the Labour Party could alter the country's political narratives in such a short period of time.
"The Labour Party has made no contribution to any of the movements or activities you see happening all across. The populace is organizing by printing the party's logo and promotional materials from their pockets.
"They are independently directing the campaign's procedure, and this is what we are observing. The populace is now inquiring as to how their government operates. They want to fire the thieves and alter the current situation.
They seek to stop the actions of some individuals who have plundered from the public purse. People have always been on the receiving end of events, but that is about to change. The party is the voice of the voiceless, and you can see that in those rallies and all around the country, he claimed.
