Soludo denounces the death of soldiers in the Anambra region

The shooting of troops by gunmen on Wednesday in the Umunze community has been harshly denounced by Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State.

Soludo bemoaned the fact that the soldiers were ambushed at Umunze during a routine patrol by as-yet-unidentified gunmen in Anambra State's Orumba South Local Government Area.

Soludo vowed to catch the offenders, according to a statement made accessible to journalists by the governor's press secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime.

Therefore, the governor encouraged Ndi Anambra to maintain their composure and adherence to the law since the security authorities are in control of the situation.

It said, "We strongly condemn this evil and heartless attack. This act's offenders must make amends. Those that attacked Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and the rest will not be allowed to rest on their laurels. There will be no place for them to hide at all.

"Our actions moving forward will be evident, and these individuals will undoubtedly pay a price for this vile and abhorrent attack,"
