A new list of Presidential Campaign Council members has been released by the APC.

On Wednesday night, a new list was revealed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), with Senator Abdullahi Adamu taking the position of second in charge of the APC's Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

You may remember that the last announced PCC list caused a stir and was criticised by certain high-profile members of the party.

Evidence suggests that Adamu's National Working Committee (NWC) of the governing APC has made significant inroads within the party's campaign council.

Senator Iyiola Omisore, the party's National Secretary, signed a list of 422 members that included the president, Muhammadu Buhari, as Chairman of the Council and the party's presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as Deputy Chairman II.

Adamu has replaced Tinubu in his role.

Kashim Shettima, his running mate, is still the council's vice chairman.

However, the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, retains his post as Director General; while Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was named as Deputy Director-General, Operations and James Faleke as Secretary.
