Tim Owoeye, the speaker of Osun, and a few of his aides are undergoing medical attention at a hospital after an accident involving his convoy occurred on Thursday, October 13.
After completing an official duty, the Speaker was traveling from Ilesha to Osogbo when a car headed for Ilesha lost control in the pouring rain and collided with the Speaker's entourage.
The accident was confirmed by the Speaker's media aide Kunle Alabi.
It was a head-on collision on the Osogbo/Ilesha route, he claimed. Speaker and his injured staff members have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Speaker is fine, but they need to check him out closely to make sure he is not hurt in any way. I'm not sure how many of his assistants were hurt, but no one was killed in the disaster.
