Anambra court sentences a man to seven months in prison for raping his 14-year-old sister.

Chinedu Eziuzo, age 21, was sentenced to seven months in prison for raping his sister, age 14, in Adazi-Enu, in the Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state.

Eziuzo, who was charged before a Federal High Court in Awka, Anambra State, was apprehended on May 30, 2022, despite having committed the offense in 2021.

Judge Dr. Nnamdi Dimg said the sentence will start on the day of his arrest and that the man had received a seven-month prison term for raping his 14-year-old sister in Anambra.

excluding the seven-month prison term. A non-custodial sentence of community service with a daily minimum of three hours was also imposed on Eziuzo.
