Attack by suspected Fulani herders in Benue leaves three dead and many injured.
Suspected Fulani herders killed at least three people, including a woman, in Tse Ikyem, Logo Local Government Area, Benue State.


The three people were reportedly killed and several others were injured when herders stormed the community on the afternoon of Saturday, October 29, 2022, around 4 p.m.


Joseph Anawah, a prominent member of the local community, verified the attack and identified the victims as Solomon Ukoom, Eunice Torkwase Joe Kpei, and Mfeseer Iorbume.


On October 29, 2022, about 4 p.m., "armed herdsmen attacked and murdered Mr. Solomon Ukoom, Mrs. Eunice Torkwase Joe Kpei, and Mr. Mfeseer Iorbume," he added.


It's true that many people were hurt.


Most of the casualties come from Ukemberagya Gaambetiev Logo LGA in Benue state. Tse Ikyem, near the Anawah village, was the site of the assault; on October 23, 2022, two persons were killed there.


SP Catherine Anene, spokesman for the State Police Command, verified the event on Sunday.


She texted the Nigerian Tribune a short message reading, "Incident confirmed pls."
