The police discovered the man on Wednesday, October 12, in a home in Benin Street, in the city's center, according to the Nigerian Tribune.
They were astonished by the finding, according to their representative, who begged for anonymity.
He explained, "Today we visited to this home in search of beverages that were typically kept in residential homes without adequate storage facilities when we spotted a naked man locked up in a room.
He was in an uncomfortable posture, as we discovered. It was intolerable to smell the room's odor.
We broke into the room afterwards and carried him outside. He was acting in a wild manner. We then discovered that he had been held in the room for 20 years.
"We also learned that he had been fed in the space. He uses the same room to urinate and defecate.
Later, he said, "the Magaji Gari police in the center of Kaduna Central area were invited and they took him away."
