Kaduna NSCDC reeducates 2019 recruits on how to properly use weapons.
Kaduna Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Idris Adah, has issued an order for all 2019 recruits in the state to undergo urgent training and retraining as part of the Corps' mandate to rejig, overhaul, reposition, and re-invigorate itself for more efficient service delivery.

The command's public relations officer, DSC Habeeb Badamasi, released a statement on Tuesday explaining that the order was given after the Commandant General gave his blessing to retrain the 2019 recruits on weapon handling, sitting position, and other topics.

The instruction, he claims, came from the Commandant during Friday's address to the 2019 recruits at the NSCDC State Headquarters in Kaduna.

He said that all of the officers who will be hired in 2019 will undergo training together in groups of ten for a period of one week.

Although the more than two hundred policemen who will be hired in 2019 have already gone through basic training, it was necessary to retrain them so that they are prepared to use their weapons in defensive situations.

I appreciate the foresight and authorization to send the 2019 recruits for additional training from Commandant General Ahmed Audi.
