Before they officially divorced, Gisele Bündchen acquired a $11.5 million Miami mansion next to Tom Brady's house.

Gisele Bündchen reportedly spent $11.5 million on a mansion that is situated right across the water from Tom Brady's house weeks before the pair divorced.

The 6,600 square foot, five-bedroom Miami Beach property was purchased by the Brazilian fashion model on October 6, according to Page Six.

Her now-ex-husband Brady's house, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island, appears to be almost directly across the waterway from the stunning five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot residence.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Bündchen had her first look at the mansion on August 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day break from the NFL. It was said that the separation was a last-ditch effort to preserve the marriage.

However, the pair officially ended their 13-year marriage on October 28 by divorcing.

Even before Tom took a break from the NFL, the source claimed, "Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on."

It would be very simple for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other, the source continued. "You could literally swim from Gisele's place to Tom's," the source said. "Not that they would, but both homes will include a dock."

High 25-foot ceilings, a sizable outdoor pool, a home theater, a gym, multiple terraces, and views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island are all features of the listed property.

In Miami's Indian Creek Country Club neighborhood, the couple planned to construct a lifelong home for themselves and their kids.

According to the Post, they spent $17 million for the site and an extra $10.12 million for the custom mansion's construction, bringing the total cost of the house to close to $30 million.

Brady and Bündchen are parents to two kids: Vivian, age 9, and Benjamin, age 12. Following their divorce on October 28, the former couple will share joint custody of their children.

Brady also shares a 15-year-old son named Jack Moynahan with actor Bridget Moynahan from a previous union.
