Imran Khan, a former prime minister of Pakistan, claims he has video evidence that proves four people conspired to have him killed.
Ex-Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was shot four times in his right leg during an assassination attempt on Thursday, November 3, has claimed knowledge of the plot.

In his first live address from the hospital where he has been receiving treatment in Lahore, the former Pakistan cricket captain claimed that four people had plotted to kill him behind closed doors and threatened to share a video if anything were to happen to him.

"The specifics of the assault are something I'll get to in a bit. The day before, I found out that they had made plans to have me killed in either Wazirabad or Gujrat "Khan said at the start of his speech, which was carried live on the PTI's YouTube page.

Khan claimed that two assailants tried to kill him while he was leading a protest march to Islamabad, the capital. One person was killed and eleven were hurt in the attack.

There were four people involved in the plot to kill me, Khan said.

"They planned to kill me under the guise of fabricated blasphemy charges. Whoever was behind it, I knew it. There was a video I had made, and if something had happened to me, I planned to release it "And he went on to say.

In an effort to boost morale in the armed forces, the PTI chairman pleaded with Pakistan's army chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, to punish "black sheeps" among the ranks.

At the end of his speech, Khan said that he would resume his march on Islamabad soon after he rovers from the bullet would, demanding early elections and the resignation of the ruling coalition party.
