American rapper Kirshnik Ball, better known by his stage name Takeoff, was killed in a shooting in Houston on Sunday. Ball was a member of the hip hop group Migos, along with Quavo and Offset.

When an argument erupted between Takeoff and Quavo as they were playing dice at the bowling alley, someone reportedly started firing, and a bullet hit Takeoff. On the morning of Tuesday, the deadly accident occurred, and he was pronounced dead at the site.

The Houston police verified the incident in a series of tweets but did not reveal the victim's identification.

There was a shooting at 1200 Polk, police reported. Upon arrival, the victim's body was discovered and declared dead. Two further people were driven to hospitals in private vehicles.

Until the family of the victim has been notified and the identify has been verified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, the media will not be informed of the victim's identity.

New information about the incident will be made available on this page. However, TMZ said that the victim in the incident was identified as Takeoff. Aside from Quavo, Takeoff was the youngest of the Migos. His uncle was Quavo, and his cousin was Offset.
