Service on the Abuja-Kaduna train to resume on December 5 - FG

According to the Federal Government's announcement, the rail route between Abuja and Kaduna would resume service on December 5.

Recall that on March 28 terrorists attacked a passenger train in Kaduna, leading the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) to suspend rail service along the route.

Fidet Okhiria, the managing director of NRC, recommended customers who wanted to use the service to update their mobile app starting on December 3 in order to make reservations.

Two trains will travel from Abuja to Kaduna and back to begin the services. Passengers received safety guarantees from Okhiria as well.

He said;

“AK 1 will depart Idu station at 9:45hrs and arrive Rigasa Station at 11:53hrs.
