This was said in a statement released on Thursday in Enugu by the command's public relations officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe.
"On January 31, 2023, police officers working for the Enugu State Command's Criminal Investigation Department detained a 41-year-old female suspect.
"Nnamani was a part of the widely shared social media video clip in which she is believed to have been selling INEC Permanent Voter Cards at a primary school in Emene, Enugu, for the price of one thousand naira.
Nkiruka Patience Obinna, 38, an INEC employee who is suspected of giving the first suspect the aforementioned PVCs to distribute to the real owners, was also detained.
The defendants have been arraigned in accordance with the Electoral Act of 2022 and the matter has been charged to court, according to his statement.
The accused were given bail, and the matter was continued for a hearing on February 15 according to the police spokeswoman.
